Describe The Bug
Sometimes when playing on a jellyfin-mpv-shim connected to my jellyfin, controlled through the android app, the app doesn't update properly anymore (e.g., playback progress). Closing the app and/or dis-/reconnecting to the remote player doesn't get control back. Only "Remote control" when tapping the DLNA icon remains available, but shows no further information, nor does it offer controls besides play/pause.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. I don't actually know how to reproduce this one
  2. It just seems to happen
  3. when the remote control is in a hung state, only play/pause is available, no artwork is shown nor any information on current media.
  4. Closing the app or switching the remote controlled device doesn't help.

Expected Behavior
Jellyfin on android should just reconnect and get the current state.

System (please complete the following information):*

  • Platform: Android, Jellyfin-mpv-shim
  • Jellyfin Version: 10.9.11
