Files Settings stored in profiles are not working

        "files.exclude": {
            "**/*.cls-meta.xml": true
        },
        
        I tried to store following setting at profile level:
        "files.exclude": {
            "**/*.cls-meta.xml": true
        }

When this setting is outside the profile it will work fine for all the profiles, but when it is saved on profile level it does not impact anything

I am also having this exact issue with files.exclude. +1 for me.
